Today, we were joined by Anthony Mayfield (Spannerworks) under the auspice of receiving an ‘outside view of what is happening in online media and journalism’. Never did I know how pivotal Google is to our profession/lives/loves/existence, although even thought it is hard to miss the monstrous, search engine leviathan that even has its own verb.

Yep that's no problem re: the work experience - I presumed someone else would apply for the position as it's a good opportunity. Will be good to have a familiar face in the office, I expect, in amongst the bizarre fish-based antics.
