The houses along Bute Street have been repainted recently. The council put down new pavements and fancy lamp posts a few years ago; flat-pack regeneration for easy photo-ops. It doesn't seem like much has changed underneath. You certainly wouldn't think this was the host communit

Down with channel media! Up with open networks!
Just as Matthew Yeomans has said, by giving the power to publish, choose and participate to the grubby masses, the internet will change how media does business.

Perpetual revolution. This is the life that journalists are facing today. But we shouldn’t get too worked up about it. As Kim Hollamby said, journalism has changed successfully before and there’s no reason to think that it won’t this time.

We all have a niche, so why shouldn’t the BBC fill it? It’s a question that any organisation that relies on an unwilling public to fund it must ask.
