Dan Meadows: Story-telling and the reality of the media

It was apt that Dan Meadows’ lecture took the same form as the narratives which he has pioneered with the 'Capture Wales' idea.

Beginning with his 'epiphanal moment' and ending with reflections about the future, his message was an extension of what various speakers have been stressing since the course started. The digital revolution is changing the media dramatically and it is our task as journalists to meet the challenges.

"Don't leave the journalism behind" : Richard Burton and online news

It was extremely refreshing to hear a journalist of both print and online media utter the words "print is not dead."

It is precisely because Burton fell into his job at the Telegraph.co.uk that his opinion carries so much weight. Those who had the pleasure of hearing the anecdotal accounts about his days on various newspapers could see this was someone who knew both media incredibly well.

Late Agbonlahor Strike Grabs Derby Win for Villa

"There's only one Liam Ridgewell," roared fans at St. Andrews only ten minutes into the second city derby.
